Exporting leads to CSV or Excel: a clean handoff to your CRM

Consistent column names and types

Before importing, align with ops on how phone, city, and industry are labeled in the CRM. Small mismatches (“Tel” vs “Phone”) break mappings.

Normalize country codes on phones when you sell across markets (US, LATAM, Spain, etc.) so dialers and integrations behave.

Deduping and statuses

Import to a staging view or temporary list first, dedupe on phone or name+address, then promote to opportunities.

Tag lead source (“territory X / sector Y”) to learn which zones convert.
